Prince Andrew ‘Chased by Armed Man’ While Walking Dogs

Disgraced royal Prince Andrew reportedly sped away in fear after an armed man wearing a balaclava allegedly chased him near his secluded countryside home, according to explosive new reports out of the U.K.

The shocking incident unfolded Wednesday evening near the sprawling Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where the former royal — now stripped of his titles and living in near-exile — was out walking his dogs with a private bodyguard.

According to The Telegraph, the suspect had been sitting inside a parked car before spotting Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, roughly 50 yards away. The man allegedly jumped out of the vehicle and started moving toward him while shouting.

Andrew reportedly wasted no time getting out of there.

The embattled prince and his bodyguard allegedly rushed back to a nearby vehicle before speeding away as the suspect tried to run after them.

Police later arrested the man on suspicion of a public order offense and possession of an offensive weapon. Authorities also searched the suspect’s vehicle for possible weapons.

The frightening confrontation has once again ignited controversy over Andrew’s security situation — and whether taxpayers or the royal family should be footing the bill to protect one of Britain’s most disgraced public figures.

For years, Andrew enjoyed elite royal protection from London’s Metropolitan Police as a senior working royal. But everything changed after his disastrous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview about his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The interview triggered worldwide outrage and ultimately led to Andrew being pushed out of royal duties. King Charles later stripped him of his royal titles and reportedly exiled him from Royal Lodge in Windsor to the isolated Marsh Farm property in Norfolk.

Since then, Andrew’s police protection has been removed, leaving him dependent on private security teams reportedly funded — at least in part — by King Charles.

Critics say the scaled-back arrangements have left Andrew dangerously exposed.

One source told The Telegraph the latest incident proves “his security provisions need to be proportionate and properly balanced for an individual with a very high profile.”

The source added, “Surely this demonstrates why his security should be reviewed.”

The bizarre setup surrounding Andrew’s new life has already drawn ridicule in Britain. Reports previously revealed a caravan had been placed on the property to house members of his security team — a move many mocked as a budget-bin royal protection plan.

Andrew remains one of the most controversial figures in the monarchy due to his long-running Epstein scandal.

Virginia Giuffre accused Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was 17 after allegedly being trafficked by Epstein. Andrew has repeatedly denied the allegations and has never been criminally charged. In 2022, he settled Giuffre’s civil lawsuit for a reported multimillion-dollar payout without admitting wrongdoing.

Now, after this latest terrifying encounter, questions are once again swirling around the fallen prince’s safety, isolation, and whether his royal downfall has left him more vulnerable than ever.
