Ted Danson is reportedly feeling the weight of time — and one old Hollywood relationship may still be weighing heavily on his mind.

The Cheers legend, now 78, is allegedly hoping to make peace with former co-star Shelley Long before it is too late for either of them, according to a source who spoke to RadarOnline.com.

Danson, who recently made headlines for apologizing to ex-girlfriend Whoopi Goldberg over his infamous 1993 blackface roast appearance, is said to be in a reflective place as he looks back on his life, career and the people who helped shape both.

One of those people is Long, 76, who starred opposite Danson on Cheers from 1982 until her shocking exit in 1987. Their chemistry as Sam Malone and Diane Chambers helped turn the sitcom into one of the most beloved shows in television history.
