Oprah Winfrey just turned Paris Fashion Week into her own viral moment — and the internet is freaking out.
A TikTok clip of the media icon arriving at the Chloé show in Paris on March 5 started spreading fast, with viewers claiming she looked so slim she was “completely unrecognizable.” And once the comments took off, one nickname showed up again and again: “Ozempic Oprah.”
Oprah, 72, stepped out in straight-leg jeans and a peach ruffle-front blouse tucked neatly at the waist, topped with a tan cropped suede jacket with a cape-like vibe. She finished the look with cat-eye sunglasses and a sleek low bubble ponytail — polished, chic, and very Paris.
By her side, as always: best friend Gayle King, who’s also riding high after signing a new deal with CBS to continue hosting CBS Mornings.

But the fashion wasn’t what really set people off. It was the size.
Fans immediately argued in the comments, with some cheering her on and others begging her to slow down. One person wrote, “Easy does it on the Ozempic,” while another bluntly claimed, “That doesn’t look like Oprah.”
Still, plenty of people came to her defense — especially those who say they understand what a lifelong weight battle can do to your confidence.
“Only people who have struggled with weight most of their lives will truly understand the joy and happiness this woman is finally experiencing,” one supportive commenter wrote. “If you’ve never been able to feel amazing in outfits… you just don’t understand.”
Oprah has been open about what finally changed for her.
After initially pushing back on speculation in 2023, she confirmed in December of that year that she was using a GLP-1 medication (she didn’t name the specific one). And she didn’t act like it was some shameful secret — she described it as the opposite.
She said having a medically approved option for weight management felt like “relief” and “redemption,” calling it “a gift,” and made it clear she’s done being shamed — by the public or by herself.
In a later interview, Oprah also said the medication helped quiet the constant mental chatter around food — the “food noise” she felt had controlled her thinking for years. She described a lightbulb moment after trying it, realizing some people aren’t fighting that nonstop internal battle.
And in another personal update, she revealed the medication also seemed to erase her desire for alcohol — a major shift after she admitted she used to be able to outdrink everyone at the table.
Now, with her latest Paris appearance lighting up social media, the big question isn’t whether Oprah looks amazing — it’s how far the conversation goes from here: celebration, judgment, or both at once.
