Frankie Valli, 92, Sparks Heath Fears After He Cancels Tour

Frankie Valli has sparked fresh concern among fans after abruptly canceling the rest of his 2026 tour dates to focus on his health.

The legendary Four Seasons frontman, now 92, had been traveling the country on his Last Encores farewell tour, which began in October 2023 and was expected to continue through October with stops across the U.S.

But the beloved singer has now stepped away from the stage for the remainder of the year, leaving longtime fans worried about what may be going on behind the scenes.

Valli announced the news in a May 29 Instagram post, telling fans he was sorry to let them down.

“I’m so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows,” he wrote.

Still, the Grease star tried to sound hopeful, adding, “I’m looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon. Thank you for all your good wishes.”

His representative, Victoria Varela, said Valli made the decision so he could focus on his well-being.

“He realized he needed to take a break and get his health in order,” Varela said in a statement.

The announcement has only fueled growing fears from fans who have followed Valli’s recent performances closely. Last August, the singer raised eyebrows during a California show when he appeared frail onstage and seemed to struggle through parts of the performance.

At the time, his rep insisted he was “just fine,” but clips from the concert left many fans unsettled. In the footage, Valli appeared to have trouble climbing the stairs to the stage and was seen gripping the handrails for support.

Now, with his remaining tour dates canceled, concern for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has only intensified.

Valli and The Four Seasons became one of the biggest groups of the 1960s, delivering classics that helped define a generation. Their rise to fame later inspired the smash Broadway musical Jersey Boys, which introduced their story and music to a whole new audience.

Even in his 90s, Valli continued performing for packed crowds. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys last year and had remained determined to keep singing as long as he could.

His last concert before stepping away from the road was on February 22 at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California.

But health concerns are not the only trouble surrounding the music legend.

Valli has also been dealing with a painful family situation involving his adult son, Francesco, 38. In May, Francesco allegedly showed up at Valli’s doorstep despite a restraining order.

According to previous legal filings, Francesco had allegedly “repeatedly physically threatened to harm or kill” his famous father.

However, there was no evidence of a dispute during the May incident, and no official report was taken.

Despite the latest worries, Valli has long made it clear that performing is the great joy of his life.

In 2024, he said he felt blessed to still be onstage at 90 years old and planned to keep going as long as he was able.

“I am blessed to be 90 years old and still be doing what I love to do,” Valli said at the time. “As long as I am able, and audiences want to come see me, I am going to be out there performing.”

He added, “I absolutely love what I do. And I know we put on a great show because our fans are still coming out in force and the show still rocks.”

For now, fans are hoping the latest pause is exactly that — a break — and that the Four Seasons icon will be healthy enough to return to the stage one more time.
