Whoopi Goldberg’s Time on ‘The View’ Coming to a End?

Whoopi Goldberg may finally be wearing out her welcome at The View.

The longtime daytime TV star is once again at the center of controversy as whispers grow louder that ABC executives could be preparing a major shake-up ahead of the show’s milestone 30th season — and insiders claim Whoopi’s seat may no longer be safe.

According to reports, network brass are quietly discussing a “refresh” of the panel as backlash continues to follow the outspoken host, whose fiery anti-Trump rants and headline-grabbing comments have repeatedly sparked outrage among viewers.

The 70-year-old Oscar winner has spent nearly two decades at the famous table, but critics say her string of controversies may finally be catching up to her.

Over the years, Goldberg has faced intense backlash for several explosive remarks, including claiming the Holocaust was “not about race,” defending disgraced director Roman Polanski by suggesting his alleged assault of a 13-year-old girl was not “rape rape,” and comparing life as a Black American to living in Iran.

The Holocaust comments were so severe that ABC suspended Goldberg for two weeks after public outrage exploded online and across media outlets.

Now, insiders claim nerves are growing behind the scenes as executives reportedly look for ways to modernize the aging talk show and bring in fresh energy before the next season launches.

One source claimed some staffers believe political forces are helping fuel the negative headlines surrounding Goldberg and her future on the show.

“Many believe that an effort is being made to put negative news out there,” the insider reportedly said, suggesting some employees think critics are trying to force a shake-up into existence.

Still, rumors of a possible exit continue swirling — especially after former conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck made a surprise return to The View earlier this year while filling in for Alyssa Farah Griffin during maternity leave.

That appearance immediately triggered speculation that producers could be testing out possible replacements or sending a warning message that no chair at the table is guaranteed forever.

Goldberg’s constant clashes with Republican guests and conservative panelists have also reportedly become a growing headache for executives trying to balance the show’s increasingly divided audience.

Despite the rumors, insiders close to the production have publicly denied that anyone is being replaced.

“No one is being replaced. The table is full,” one source insisted.

But Goldberg herself may have accidentally added fuel to the speculation in previous interviews when joking that she can’t retire because she still needs to “pay those bills” — despite reportedly pulling in around $8 million a year from the daytime talk giant.

Whether the rumors are true or not, one thing is certain: the pressure surrounding Whoopi Goldberg and The View is only getting louder as the show heads into one of the biggest turning points in its history.
