‘Ancient Aliens’ Star Dies After Posting Distressing Message

Shock and sadness are rippling through the paranormal TV world after the sudden death of David Wilcock — a familiar face to millions of conspiracy and UFO fans.

The 53-year-old content creator, best known for his appearances on Ancient Aliens, has died following what authorities describe as an apparent suicide, according to officials in Colorado.

The Boulder County Coroner’s Office confirmed Wilcock’s passing in a statement released April 22, revealing the incident unfolded after a tense encounter with law enforcement near the small mountain town of Nederland, Colorado.

According to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched on April 20 after a 911 call reported someone appearing to be in the middle of a mental health crisis. What happened next turned tragic fast — Wilcock died “within minutes” of deputies arriving at the scene.

Officials say no one else was found at the property and there was no ongoing threat to the public.

But the warning signs may have been there days earlier.

Fans had already begun sounding the alarm after Wilcock posted a deeply emotional message on social media just two days before his death.

“My Dear Family, I am not yet sure if I am doing a show tomorrow… I’ve had some very intense stuff going on this weekend,” he wrote, before adding a message that now reads like a haunting goodbye: “Always remember that the Creator is within — and we live in a loving universe.”

In a twist that gave followers hope at the time, he returned online the very next day saying he felt better and planned to go live — making the sudden turn of events even more jarring.

Wilcock wasn’t just another talking head. He was a central figure in the fringe-science entertainment world, appearing in over 100 episodes of Ancient Aliens and diving deep into theories about extraterrestrial contact, hidden civilizations, and secret global power structures.

He also made waves with the 2018 documentary Above Majestic, which explored controversial claims about shape-shifting reptilian elites controlling world governments — and authored bestselling books like The Ascension Mysteries and Awakening in the Dream.

His death comes just weeks after another loss in the same orbit — Nick Pope, a former British UFO investigator and fellow Ancient Aliens contributor, who passed away earlier this month following a battle with cancer.

Now, fans are left grappling with the eerie timing — and the unsettling final messages of a man who built his career exploring the unknown.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. In the U.S., you can call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or dial 911 in an emergency.
