TV Star Hospitalized After Venomous Spider Bite

Taylor Momsen’s rock tour nightmare is getting harder to watch—and it all started with one vicious bite.

The former Gossip Girl star, who famously played Jenny Humphrey before reinventing herself as the frontwoman of The Pretty Reckless, revealed her time on the road with AC/DC in Mexico City has turned into a full-blown medical scare.

Momsen, 32, shocked fans when she first revealed that a “massive spider” bit her while the band was on tour. At the time, she tried to brush it off, saying she got treatment from doctors and powered through performances anyway—true rockstar fashion.

But things quickly took a disturbing turn.

In a follow-up post, Momsen shared alarming images of the bite as a deep red rash began spreading across her shin. The situation escalated so fast that she told fans she was heading back to the hospital, joking grimly, “poisonous spiders are NO BUENO,” while still insisting she planned to hit the stage.

By the next day, the images were even more unsettling.

The infection had spread across most of her shin, with doctors literally outlining the inflamed area in marker to track its growth. In one chilling update, Momsen appeared to be wheeled through a hospital, hinting the situation may be more serious than she initially let on.

Still, she hasn’t backed down.

“Hospital today, show tomorrow,” she wrote, doubling down on her commitment to perform despite the worsening condition. She later added that she might end up spending the night under medical supervision, thanking doctors for stepping in as the situation intensified.

For now, fans are left watching closely as the rocker pushes through what’s turning into a seriously gnarly—and potentially dangerous—tour ordeal.
