Hollywood Icon Rushed to the Hospital After Nasty Fall

Hollywood legend Ann-Margret is proving she’s still as tough as ever—but even icons aren’t immune to a frightening fall.

The 84-year-old screen siren was rushed to the hospital after taking a nasty spill inside her home, leaving her with a broken right elbow and forcing her to cancel a scheduled autograph appearance. The beloved Viva Las Vegas star opened up about the scary moment, revealing it happened suddenly and caught her completely off guard.

“I fell the other day and so now my right elbow is broken,” she shared, adding that she’s now trying to be extra careful moving forward. Still, in true Ann-Margret fashion, she brushed off the severity of the incident with a mix of humor and resilience. “I have fallen so many times… you just get up and start all over again,” she said.

Despite the painful injury, the Hollywood icon isn’t slowing down. In fact, she’s already back to working out—with a twist. Her trainer has adjusted her routine so she can keep moving without putting pressure on her injured arm, focusing mostly on lower-body exercises.

“If I don’t do that, I’ll start making excuses,” she admitted, crediting her trainer for keeping her motivated and on track.

Fans will be relieved to hear the legendary performer is still expected to make a major public appearance next month at the Chita Rivera Awards in New York City, where she’s set to receive a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

From her unforgettable on-screen chemistry with Elvis Presley to her decades-long career spanning film, music, and television, Ann-Margret has long been one of Hollywood’s most enduring stars. And if this latest scare proves anything, it’s that she’s not about to let a broken elbow bring down her legendary spirit.

  1. Finally an UNDERSTATED adjective about a celebrity. I hope she’s going to be okay and around for a while longer. Get well soon.
