Russian pop star Lolita Milyavskaya was caught on camera erupting in frustration after a drone attack warning abruptly interrupted her concert in the Russian resort city of Sochi.
The 62-year-old singer was performing Saturday night, Sept. 19, at Sochi’s Festivalny Concert Hall when authorities issued a warning about a possible drone attack on the city.
Video from the performance shows Lolita suddenly stop singing and walk away from the microphone as the show is interrupted.

“Stop,” she can be heard saying as she paces across the stage before launching into an expletive-filled complaint about the disruption.
“I am so f—ing sick of them,” she says in the widely circulated clip, according to translations of the footage.
The outburst quickly spread across social media, drawing particular attention because of Lolita’s long and complicated ties to Ukraine.
Lolita was born in Mukachevo, in what was then the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, in 1963. She later spent part of her childhood and youth in Kyiv before eventually building her career in Russia.
She has since faced restrictions from Ukrainian authorities over her activities following Russia’s annexation of Crimea and its subsequent invasion of Ukraine.
In April 2017, Ukrainian border officials denied Lolita entry and banned her from the country for three years. Officials said she had traveled to Russian-annexed Crimea through entry points Ukraine considered closed after performing in Kerch in 2015.
Ukraine later imposed sanctions on Lolita in January 2023 as part of a broader package targeting Russian cultural and entertainment figures. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky formally enacted the sanctions through a Jan. 7 presidential decree.
Saturday night’s incident unfolded as Sochi authorities were dealing with a genuine security alert.

The disruption also appears to have been more serious than a routine concert delay. Local officials said air-defense systems were operating while the drone warning remained in effect, and the city’s siren system temporarily malfunctioned after being damaged by lightning during severe weather.
However, contrary to some early reports, the warning did not permanently end Lolita’s concert.
Local outlet Yugopolis reported that spectators and performers were sent to shelter after the alert was announced. Lolita later came out to speak with fans during the interruption and reportedly promised she would return to the stage.
The concert eventually resumed at roughly 10 p.m.
Afterward, Lolita struck a much different tone on social media, describing the tour as an emotional experience and thanking her audience for staying with her.
The chaotic night came amid heightened security concerns around Sochi, a Black Sea resort that has repeatedly faced drone and maritime-drone warnings during the continuing Russia-Ukraine war.
Earlier the same day, city officials temporarily restricted access to beaches and waterfront areas because of a separate threat involving unmanned surface vessels before later reopening them.
The footage of Lolita’s onstage reaction has nevertheless become the moment attracting the most attention online, with critics focusing on the contrast between her anger over the disruption and her documented support for Russia following its invasion of Ukraine.
