A Costco employee allegedly consumed by jealousy deliberately rammed a coworker’s motorcycle, sending the 20-year-old rider flying into a metal pole in a horrifying crash that killed him, prosecutors say.

Disturbing video reportedly captures the deadly moment Tyler Sorensen, 22, caught up with coworker Jonathon Langdon after following him out of a Costco parking lot in Issaquah, Washington.

Authorities say Sorensen had become enraged after seeing Langdon hug another Costco employee, Samantha Peterson — a woman Sorensen was allegedly infatuated with.

Langdon left the parking lot on his motorcycle while Sorensen followed behind in a gray sedan.

Video obtained by The California Post allegedly shows Sorensen closing the distance before striking the rear of Langdon’s motorcycle.

The impact sent Langdon hurtling into a street sign while his riderless motorcycle continued rolling down the road.

Court documents describe a horrific scene.

“Langdon’s body is seen violently impacting the metal signpost, causing his body to wrap around the post and recoil backwards, landing face down,” investigators wrote.

Langdon was reportedly still wearing his black motorcycle helmet when first responders arrived, although the force of the collision had knocked the visor loose.

Investigators said his shirt had been pulled up and there was an apparent impact mark across his lower back that appeared to match the width and circular holes of the nearby metal post.

The crash allegedly followed a tense encounter minutes earlier in the parking lot at Costco’s headquarters in North Issaquah.

Prosecutors say Sorensen saw Peterson hugging Langdon and became furious.

“Always told me he was just a friend. My blood is boiling,” Sorensen allegedly texted friends alongside a photo of Peterson and Langdon hugging.

Authorities claim Sorensen then came within just a few feet of striking the pair with his car before waiting roughly 10 minutes for Langdon to leave on his motorcycle.

He allegedly followed him from the parking lot before the fatal collision.

Investigators say Sorensen did not stop to help Langdon or call 911 after the crash.

Instead, he allegedly drove away and later pulled over to examine the damage to his sedan and determine whether it was still drivable.

In a stunning twist, Sorensen was reportedly stopped for speeding by a Washington State Patrol trooper while driving home.

The trooper allegedly had no idea that a deadly hit-and-run had just occurred only miles away.

Sorensen eventually returned to the crash scene after his father learned what had happened and brought him back to surrender, authorities said.

Following his arrest, Sorensen allegedly made a chilling admission to investigators.

“It was stupid but I… meant to do it,” he reportedly said.

Sorensen allegedly told police he had become “panicked” and “riled up” after seeing Peterson hug Langdon.

But Peterson told investigators she and Sorensen had never dated.

She also reportedly said she had repeatedly warned him that he was “crossing boundaries” and told him she “needed space.”

Sorensen pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Thursday.

A judge set his bail at $2 million and ordered him to remain behind bars.

He is scheduled to return to court Aug. 27 for a pre-trial conference as the disturbing case moves forward.
