Prince William is reportedly in no mood to play happy families with Prince Harry.

The Prince of Wales is said to be “irritated” over Harry’s expected return to the U.K. next month — and insiders claim the future king has been ignoring his younger brother’s attempts to reach out as the royal feud shows no sign of thawing.

According to new claims, William, 44, is especially frustrated that King Charles, 77, appears willing to go out of his way to accommodate Harry, 41, and Meghan Markle, 44, as the Sussexes prepare for a visit that could bring their children back onto royal soil.

One royal insider told Vanity Fair that William still cannot get past what Harry has said publicly about the family.

“William is known to hold a grudge, and more than that, he cannot forgive his brother for what Harry has put his family through,” the source claimed.

The bad blood between the brothers has been building for years, especially after Harry and Meghan’s explosive 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey and Harry’s memoir, Spare. In the book, Harry aired deeply personal family tensions, including private details about his relationship with William, Kate Middleton and the wider royal household.

Now, with Harry preparing to return to Britain, insiders say he is hoping the trip could be a chance for his children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, to spend time with relatives they barely know.

The Sussexes are expected to attend an event tied to the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham next year. Sources close to Harry and Meghan claim the duchess and the couple’s two children will travel with him.

“Harry wants to bring the kids to see his family – not just the Windsors, but the Spencers too,” an insider claimed. “He wants to spend time with the wider family. This has been on the cards for some time.”

The source said the visit could have happened next year when the Invictus Games officially take place in Birmingham, but for reasons that remain unclear, the family trip is now expected this summer.

“Harry is, and has for some time been, very keen to have the kids come over to the U.K.,” the insider added. “There’s been a feeling of such sadness that he’s not been able to bring them to the U.K.”

But if Harry is hoping for a brotherly reunion, he may be disappointed.

Sources claim William has no intention of meeting with Harry and may even make sure he is nowhere nearby when the Sussexes are in town.

“William won’t be seeing his brother,” one insider claimed. “I suspect he will make sure he’s miles away when Harry visits to avoid any awkward encounters.”

The same source alleged Harry has tried more than once to open the door to a conversation, but William is not picking up.

“Harry has tried to make contact repeatedly, but William won’t take his calls,” the insider claimed.

Those close to the Prince of Wales say the situation has only become more tense because Charles appears to want peace, while William remains far more guarded.

“He is not minded to a reconciliation at all, and the fact that his father is bending over backwards to make Harry’s visit happen has become the source of deep irritation for William,” the source said.

A family friend added that Charles and William are looking at the Harry drama from completely different places.

“William is known to hold a grudge, whereas Charles just wants peace,” the friend claimed. “They come to the Harry situation from different perspectives. Charles is of the view that one must forgive and move on. William won’t do that. Not yet and maybe never.”

For now, Harry’s return may bring the Sussex children closer to their British relatives — but it does not appear likely to heal the bitter rift between the two royal brothers.

And if the latest claims are true, William’s message to Harry is painfully clear: don’t expect a warm welcome.
