Country singer Tom Wolfe gave fans a scary update after suddenly going quiet online — and it turns out his absence was not by choice.

The Wolfe Brothers star, who performs alongside his brother Nick in the Australian country duo, revealed that he was hospitalized after suffering a severe allergic reaction to peanuts.

Wolfe shared the frightening news on Instagram on May 27, posting a photo of himself looking completely wiped out while lying on a hospital gurney.

“Been a little quiet on socials this past week — not intentionally,” he told fans.

Then came the alarming explanation.

“Last week I had a pretty bad anaphylactic shock to peanuts and ended up in hospital,” Wolfe wrote. “Pretty scary stuff, but incredibly thankful for the paramedics who looked after me.”

The “Ain’t Seen It Yet” singer said the medical emergency was serious enough that he needed major treatment fast.

“5 shots of adrenaline and a quick ambulance ride later, I’m all good!” he added.

Thankfully, Wolfe appears to be recovering well after the terrifying incident. He also made sure to give a public thank-you to the first responders who helped him through the crisis.

“If those paramedics ever want Wolfe Brothers tickets… they’re on the house,” he joked.

Wolfe did not explain exactly how he came into contact with peanuts, but the reaction was clearly severe enough to send him straight to the hospital.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with relief, support — and, because the internet never misses an opportunity, plenty of peanut jokes.

“Deez nuts,” one fan cracked, prompting The Wolfe Brothers’ account to reply, “INCREDIBLE.”

“That’s nuts! Honestly, bloody hell, thank goodness you’re okay,” another follower wrote.

One fan even managed to find humor in Wolfe’s hospital photo, joking, “Rough news, man… But… how do you look this good passed out? What a beautiful man.”

The scary health scare comes just before The Wolfe Brothers are set to hit the road again. The duo is scheduled to kick off an Australian tour on May 30 at AlphaFest 2026 in Sandstone Point.

Wolfe’s fans are now just happy he is alive, recovering, and still able to laugh about an emergency that could have ended much worse.
