Lifetime Star Left ‘Permanently Disfigured’ After Vicious Dog Attack

A routine walk with her beloved dog turned into a nightmare for Lifetime actress Natasha Wilson, who claims a vicious attack at a Hollywood-area park left her permanently disfigured and unable to work for nearly two years.

Now, the actress is fighting back in court, alleging that a dog named Scruffy attacked her while she desperately tried to protect her French bulldog, leaving her with a painful facial scar and potentially lasting damage to her acting career.

According to a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County, the frightening encounter unfolded around 9:40 p.m. on November 7, 2024, at West Hollywood Dog Park.

Wilson, known for her appearances in Lifetime productions including Single and Ready to Jingle, The Best Version of Love, and UnREAL, was walking her French bulldog when she encountered Gregory Marcel and his dog, Scruffy.

The lawsuit alleges Scruffy approached her smaller dog and stood over it in an aggressive manner. Fearing for her pet’s safety, Wilson attempted to pick up her bulldog, but Scruffy allegedly jumped on her, causing her to lose her grip.

What followed was a terrifying struggle.

“Scruffy continued to attack, while Wilson was on the ground attempting to shield her dog with her body and hands,” the lawsuit states.

During the encounter, the dog allegedly bit Wilson above her right eyebrow, leaving her injured and bleeding.

Marcel subsequently removed Scruffy and accompanied the actress to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she received stitches and antibiotics, according to the filing.

But Wilson claims the damage went far beyond the initial injury.

The actress alleges the attack left her with a permanent, painful scar above her right eyebrow, changes to her eyebrow’s appearance and hair growth, and impaired movement of her right brow. She says doctors have recommended additional treatment, including scar revision surgery.

For an actress whose appearance is part of her livelihood, Wilson claims the consequences have been devastating.

Her lawsuit alleges the injuries caused considerable physical pain, emotional distress and disfigurement while preventing her from pursuing her usual acting work.

Wilson’s last listed screen credit dates to 2024, although the absence of newer credits does not independently establish that she has been unable to work.

The actress is now seeking financial compensation for medical expenses, lost wages and diminished future earning potential.

Her lawsuit also accuses Marcel and other defendants identified as the dog’s owners of failing to properly control Scruffy despite allegedly knowing about the animal’s aggressive tendencies.

Under California law, dog owners can be held financially responsible for injuries caused by bites in public places, even without a documented history of aggression.

Wilson has requested a trial, setting the stage for a legal battle over an encounter she claims permanently changed both her appearance and her professional future.

The allegations have not been established in court, and no ruling on liability has been reported.
