Savannah Guthrie is still pleading for answers nearly six months after her mother, Nancy Guthrie, vanished in what authorities have described as an apparent abduction.
The Today co-anchor shared a deeply emotional Instagram video on Monday, July 27, directly addressing anyone who may know where her 84-year-old mother is. Nancy was reported missing on February 1 after disappearing from her Tucson, Arizona, home, and the case remains unresolved.
“It has been months since our mom was taken from us. Our family is in agony,” Savannah said in the video. “We are in a nightmare that will not end. Nothing about our situation has changed.”
The longtime NBC anchor appeared visibly emotional as she explained that her family is still living with the pain of not knowing where Nancy is or what happened to her.
Savannah also made one line that immediately raised questions.
“We have done our part,” she said, without explaining exactly what she meant.
That remark comes after earlier reports indicated that ransom-related messages had been sent to media outlets, though the authenticity of those demands has been questioned. The Guthrie family previously signaled they were willing to pay for Nancy’s safe return, but it remains unclear whether any money was ever exchanged.

“I know you have tried to do things the right way,” she said. “I’m asking you, begging you, to do the right thing now. Make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her.”
She continued with a desperate appeal for compassion.
“I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing,” Savannah said. “Help us bring this situation to an end. For all of us, no matter where we’ve been and what we’ve done, I believe there is always a way home. Please make the right choice.”
