Mindy Cohn is once again staring down the fight of her life.

The beloved Facts of Life star, who once believed she had beaten cancer after a brutal years-long battle, has revealed that the disease has returned nearly a decade after she was declared cancer-free.

The 59-year-old actress, best known to generations of TV fans as Natalie Green on the classic sitcom, shared the heartbreaking update on Instagram after stepping away from social media.

“Have been off social media for awhile ’cuz I had to go kick cancer’s ass,” Cohn wrote alongside a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed.

The emotional post immediately sparked concern from fans who remembered Cohn’s previous cancer battle, which began after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012.

At the time, Cohn fought the illness privately. But years later, she opened up about just how frightening and exhausting the ordeal had been.
