A routine delivery turned into a jaw-dropping moment no homeowner wants to see.
A Southern California man says he was stunned after checking his security footage and spotting an Amazon delivery driver doing far more than dropping off packages. The shocking scene unfolded outside his home in Pomona, where the driver was caught on camera relieving herself right in his driveway — tucked between two parked cars.
Homeowner Jose Villalobos said he couldn’t believe what he was watching.
“I was so surprised,” he told KTLA. “I couldn’t believe someone would even think to do that.”
The footage reportedly shows the woman, dressed in a blue jacket, walking up to deliver packages before stepping between a white car and a black vehicle — and then urinating on the spot.
Still, Villalobos didn’t come out swinging. Instead, he struck a surprisingly understanding tone, suggesting the driver may have been pushed to the limit.
“When you got to go, you got to go,” he said. “If she would’ve asked, I probably would have let her use my bathroom. She’s probably working crazy hours with no restroom nearby.”
That detail hits on a bigger issue that’s followed Amazon for years. Reports have repeatedly surfaced claiming delivery drivers are under intense pressure, often skipping breaks — with some even admitting to using bottles while on the job.
Amazon confirmed the driver involved was part of its Flex program, which relies on independent contractors using their own vehicles to make deliveries.
In a statement, the company said it’s taking the situation seriously.
“We’re aware of this matter and take situations like this seriously. An investigation is underway to determine the facts,” a spokesperson said.
As bizarre as it sounds, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Just last year, another Amazon driver in Woodland Hills was reportedly caught on camera doing the same thing — not once, but on two separate front porches.
For Villalobos, the whole ordeal is one he won’t forget anytime soon — a delivery gone wrong in the most unexpected way.
At least she didn’t go on the porch.
