Texas chaos just collided with Washington politics.
A man who reportedly worked as part of U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s security detail was shot and killed by Dallas police during a tense standoff this week — and investigators say he was wanted in a case involving alleged police impersonation.
According to CBS News Texas, the confrontation unfolded Wednesday night in Dallas after officers tracked down a suspect publicly known as “Mike King.” Police say he ran into a hospital parking garage, then barricaded himself inside a vehicle as SWAT officers closed in.
CBS reports officers used tear gas to force him out. Moments later, the suspect jumped out, allegedly pulled a gun, and was fatally shot by police. Authorities have not publicly released his real identity.
Here’s the twist: law enforcement sources told CBS the man was wanted for allegedly impersonating law enforcement while operating an online platform called Off Duty Police Services — a service that claimed to connect North Texas officers with off-duty work.
CBS also reported that images show him close to Crockett at events and traveling with her during her recent Texas U.S. Senate campaign. The same reporting says Crockett paid a “Mike King” for “security services” in 2025, based on documents CBS reviewed.
Crockett recently lost the Democratic primary to Texas state Rep. James Talarico.
Reuters noted that Crockett’s office and the Dallas Police Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

If you believe this crap, than your just as bad as that so called officer is.
Before making any comments, I chose to wait until more facts and proof come out. At the present time, everyone (talking heads, news outlets, etc.) seems to be assuming, guessing, predicting, etc., because the ones who do know the real truth are not saying anything. So, how can the talking heads, etc., know everything?? So, I’ll just wait until more comes out, which will happen in the very near future.
