Hollywood Actor Endorses Trump, Calls It ‘Career Suicide’

Zachary Levi, the DC Comics actor best known for his role as Shazam, made headlines over the weekend when he publicly endorsed former President Donald Trump during an event in Michigan. Speaking at “Team Trump’s Reclaim America Tour,” Levi voiced his support for Trump, calling him the leader America needs as the 2024 election approaches.

“Of the two choices that we have, Donald Trump, President Trump, is the man that can get us there,” Levi declared, throwing his weight behind the former president. However, he acknowledged that his endorsement could be controversial in Hollywood, stating that his decision might amount to “career suicide.”

Levi appeared alongside political figures Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, moderating a panel that focused on reclaiming the nation and restoring its greatness. Levi emphasized that the event was about unity, not division. “We’re here for unity… whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican… every one of us is a child of God,” he told the crowd, encouraging Americans to come together for the good of the country.

His endorsement of Trump was tied closely to his admiration for Kennedy and Gabbard, both of whom have also criticized the political establishment. “I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump,” Levi said. He praised Trump for having “the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight” to restore America’s greatness, bolstered by allies like Kennedy and Gabbard.

Levi has not shied away from controversy in the past. In January 2023, he questioned the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine, particularly targeting Pfizer, which he described as “a real danger to the world.” His remarks sparked backlash, but Levi has remained vocal in his skepticism of Big Pharma and the mainstream media.

At the Michigan event, Levi reflected on the reaction to his Trump endorsement. While acknowledging that Hollywood is overwhelmingly liberal and that his career could suffer, he remained defiant. “Within my industry… this very well could constitute career suicide, so I’m glad I did it with you guys,” he said to applause, with Kennedy himself joining in.

Levi took aim at what he described as the “poison” infiltrating American culture, criticizing not only pharmaceuticals but also the media and entertainment industries. “We are being poisoned and lied to… in the images we are looking at, the audio we are hearing through our media,” he warned the audience, urging them to stay vigilant and informed.

As the event came to a close, Levi offered a message of grace and unity, calling on Trump supporters to resist the divisiveness that characterizes much of modern politics. “As we go to the polls, recognize that all the people on the other side that still believe Kamala is the answer—they are not the enemy. They are not evil… they have been lied to,” he said. He urged his supporters not to be drawn into hate or anger, saying, “Do not be baited into their attacks. Don’t get baited into their hate. That’s what they want you to do.”

Levi’s bold endorsement of Donald Trump, combined with his call for unity and civility, sets him apart in an industry where conservative voices are often sidelined. As the 2024 election looms, Levi’s words are sure to resonate with many Americans who feel disillusioned by the status quo.
