Kamala Harris is getting roasted online after what critics are calling a painfully awkward attempt at impersonating Donald Trump during a recent speech — a moment that quickly spiraled into viral ridicule.
The former vice president took the stage at the National Action Network annual convention in New York City, where she addressed a friendly crowd and took aim at Trump’s foreign policy approach. But things took a turn when Harris decided to act out her version of Trump mid-speech — and the internet wasted no time tearing it apart.
While accusing Trump of thinking like a “mob boss,” Harris launched into a drawn-out impression that many said sounded more like a character straight out of a mafia movie than anything resembling the former president. The delivery, meant to land as humorous, instead sparked a flood of secondhand embarrassment online.

Critics piled on within minutes.
“The worst Trump impression in world history,” one user blasted.
Another added, “This isn’t even Trump — it’s like a wine mom doing improv.”
Others mocked the performance as something that wouldn’t even make the cut on Saturday Night Live, with many questioning why she attempted it at all.
But the awkward moment wasn’t the only headline-grabber.
As chants of “run again!” echoed through the crowd, Harris fueled speculation about her political future. When asked directly by Al Sharpton whether she would enter the 2028 presidential race, she didn’t shut it down.
“I might. I am thinking about it,” she said — a remark that immediately sent political watchers into overdrive.
It’s not the first time she’s hinted at unfinished business. In a previous interview with the BBC, Harris made it clear she’s not stepping away from politics anytime soon.
“I am not done,” she said. “It’s in my bones.”
Despite the backlash over her viral impression, Harris doubled down on her criticism of Trump, calling him a “tyrant” and accusing him of using the justice system as a political weapon — claims that continue to fuel an already heated political climate.
Now, with talk of a possible 2028 run heating up, one thing is clear: Harris may have grabbed attention — just not in the way she intended.
