A quiet Tennessee neighborhood turned chaotic when “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson was allegedly caught on video throwing punches at a neighbor — with children watching the entire confrontation unfold.
Footage obtained by TMZ appears to show the 43-year-old actor standing over a man identified as Ronnie Taylor, repeatedly striking him while the man crouches on the ground. Nearby, two young boys — believed to be Ritchson’s sons — sit on motorbikes, witnessing the violent scene.
According to reports, the altercation didn’t come out of nowhere. Taylor claims tensions began the day before, when Ritchson allegedly tore through the neighborhood on a green Kawasaki motorcycle, revving the engine loudly and speeding through the streets.
Taylor admitted he responded by flipping off the actor — a gesture Ritchson reportedly returned — but says things escalated dramatically the next day when the actor came back with his children.
That’s when Taylor says he confronted Ritchson, shouting for him to “stop this,” before the situation spiraled into a physical fight.
Taylor alleges he was punched “at least four times,” later sharing photos showing visible injuries to his face. He reported the incident to police, and law enforcement sources confirmed an active investigation is now underway. No arrests have been made so far.
But there may be another side to the story.
Sources close to Ritchson told TMZ the actor didn’t start the fight — claiming Taylor was the aggressor and even pushed Ritchson off his bike twice before things turned physical. Ritchson reportedly walked away with minor injuries, including cuts, bruises, and a hurt finger.
So far, Ritchson has remained silent on social media, and his representatives have not issued a public statement.
The actor, best known for his role as Jack Reacher, shares three sons with his wife Catherine, his high school sweetheart. The couple has been married since 2006 and has lived a somewhat unconventional lifestyle in recent years, traveling frequently due to his filming schedule.
Now, with video of the confrontation circulating and conflicting accounts emerging, the situation is quickly turning into a headline-grabbing he-said, he-said — with authorities still working to determine exactly what happened.
