Meghan Markle Reportedly Melting Down Over Netflix and Blaming Prince Harry

Meghan Markle is being accused of playing the blame game as her and Prince Harry’s once-hyped Netflix partnership reportedly loses steam — and insiders claim the tension is spilling into their working relationship behind closed doors.

According to multiple industry sources, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix through Archewell Productions, but the relationship has allegedly cooled after what some insiders describe as an uneven track record. While their early docuseries Harry & Meghan grabbed massive attention, later releases have faced harsher criticism — including the claim that With Love, Meghan failed to deliver the kind of momentum Netflix hoped would follow.

And that’s where the drama reportedly starts.

One source familiar with internal conversations claimed there’s a “strong feeling” Meghan is “blaming everyone but herself” for what’s now being framed as a Netflix downfall — from Netflix’s expectations, to outside collaborators, to “especially Prince Harry.”

Another industry figure alleged Meghan isn’t looking inward as the pressure rises, but instead pushing responsibility outward — and that it’s creating friction between her and Harry.

“She feels he wasn’t as open to the showbiz world as she was and didn’t share her dreams,” the source claimed, suggesting Meghan believes Harry didn’t fully match her ambition for building a Hollywood empire.

Meanwhile, insiders say Netflix executives have grown tired of what they view as repetitive storylines centered on the couple’s royal exit — and question whether Archewell can consistently produce fresh, must-watch content that stands on its own.

There have also been claims that Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos became frustrated with the couple — but those accusations have been forcefully denied. Netflix has called such reports “absolutely inaccurate,” while the Sussexes’ legal team labeled specific allegations “blatantly false,” including claims Sarandos wouldn’t speak with Meghan without lawyers involved.

Sources also pointed to outside ventures that allegedly complicated the Netflix rollout. The couple’s Oprah Winfrey interview and Harry’s memoir Spare were both said to have caught Netflix off guard, with insiders suggesting executives felt those projects stole attention from Netflix’s own releases. Representatives for Meghan and Harry, however, have maintained they cooperated fully with the streamer.

Then there are the behind-the-scenes whispers about how they operate together.

Some industry sources claim Meghan has dominated meetings and at times spoken over Harry — but those characterizations have been rejected as misleading. Her legal team has also pushed back on criticism of her working style, saying certain behaviors reflect the realities of working from home while raising young children.

For now, Netflix is still in business with the Sussexes under a first-look arrangement — but people in the industry reportedly aren’t as eager to jump into projects with them as they once were.

One production source summed up the mood like this: the “downfall narrative” has made collaborators cautious — and in some cases, they’re avoiding involvement altogether.

And if fresh wins don’t come soon, insiders say the partnership could quietly fade out rather than explode in a dramatic public breakup.
